Our rental unit is a cozy one-bedroom apartment on a quiet, tree-lined street in the heart of Capitol Hill. You’ll be a short (and beautiful!) walk from the U.S. Capitol, Supreme Court and Union Station. Dogs are allowed. 100% smoke free.
Capitol Hill Haven is an English basement that can comfortably host up to three adult guests. The apartment is completely independent of the main house.
This cozy space is for coffee lovers! Nodding to Sara’s Italian heritage, we equipped the apartment with an Italian Moka (coffee maker) and Expresso ground coffee (instructions on how to use it included!). Moreover, for traditional drip coffee, we have a Keurig machine with multiple coffee and tea pods.
The rental unit also features:
– A queen-size bed with a cooling memory foam mattress;
– Sofa sleeper (full bed);
– Full closet with hangers;
– Independent, guest-controlled heating and cooling;
– Guest-controlled dehumidifier;
– Fully equipped kitchen with full-size refrigerator, stove, oven, dishwasher (pods included), microwave, and toaster;
– Dining table with 4 seats;
– Smart TV with Netflix and Amazon Prime;
Please note that light footsteps may occasionally be heard from above during the day and early evening. We are attentive to your comfort, but some noise between units is unavoidable.

Our guests are always welcome to reach us by text message or phone call. Phone numbers will be provided before the check-in. Guests can also communicate via the Airbnb messaging app.
Quiet Capitol Hill neighborhood, but still close to many restaurants along the H Street corridor.
